History

TRANSPORTS ROUZAIRE Europe

The company ROUZAIRE is a family enterprise already in its fourth generation.

In 1928, Casimir ROUZAIRE founded the first company in Saint Chély d'Apcher. He owned only one truck with a maximum working load of 5 tons and undertook only very short haulage journeys from the Saint-Chély railway station to the Saint-Alban hospital.

In 1950, the company began to expand. By this time, it owned three trucks driven by the two sons and their father.

In 1952, Louis ROUZAIRE, son of Casimir, decided to found his own company. He also began with only one truck but had already began undertaking long-haulage journeys (Rhone valley, Cavaillon, Limoges).

In 1973, the company was renamed SNC ROUZAIRE and Louis, together with his two sons Marc and Alain, operated four trucks.

In 1975, after the death of Louis, his son Marc took over the company on his own.

Since 1985, it has continually developed and begun accepting international haulage contracts.
